M106 is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. M106 is at a distance of about 22 to 25 million light-years away from Earth.
This image was taken February 20th. This image consists of a total of 4hrs. This is made up of the following individual frames:
Lum 30 x 120s
Red 30 x 120s
Green 30 x 120s
Blue 30 x 120s
I took the images from my backyard observatory using an Astro-Tech AT130EDT telescope with a focal length 910mm. I used the ZWO ASI 294MM Pro camera and Baader LRGB filters. All process using PixInsight.
