SH2-157, also known as the Lobster Claw Nebula, is an emission nebula located about 11,000 light-years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia. This image consists of a total of 11hrs and 30min of exposure taken over two nights. This is made up of the following individual frames:
Red 20 x 30s
Green 20 x 30s
Blue 20 x 30s
Sii 44 x 300s
Ha 44 x 300s
Oiii 44 x 300s
I processed this image in the SHO Hubble pallet and integrated the RGB stars into the final image.
I took the images from my backyard observatory using an Astro-Tech AT130EDT telescope with a focal length 910mm. I used the ZWO ASI 294MM Pro camera and Antlia LRGB and Narrowband filters. All process using PixInsight.
